Tshwene Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve, a 36,000-hectare private reserve in the Waterberg region. The lodge sits atop a slope with mountain views, and animals such as zebra and elephant are sometimes visible from the breakfast and lunch areas. The reserve enforces a strict rule of maximum four vehicles at any animal sighting, ensuring quiet, respectful wildlife encounters.
Rooms & Amenities
Each of the five Deluxe King Suites is a private wooden house with a balcony, patio, and outdoor shower overlooking the bush. The rooms have super king beds, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a fridge. The main lodge offers free WiFi, two lounges, a bar, and a rooftop swimming pool with mountain views.
Dining
The on-site restaurant serves African and South African cuisine, with set menus for lunch and dinner prepared by the resident chef.
